My name is Hal, I’m a young artist and designer from Sussex, United Kingdom. I’m currently doing an Art and Design Foundation specialising in Graphic Design,
with a background in Fine Art and an experimental approach to visual commmunication.
My work is purposeful and people focused and I’m always ready to explore new ideas. I love taking risks and pushing myself to improve, drawing energy from music, films, culture, politics and the everyday things that make people curious.

DESCRIPTION
This Experimental project investigated projection as a generative design process. By layering transparent materials and projecting light through textured surfaces, I explored depth, distortion and spatial composition.
The photographic documentation of these projections informed a broader visual direction, including campaign graphics to combat climate change and forrest fires and immersive stage concepts inspired by Es Devlin. Inspired by large-scale set design, I translated two-dimensional graphic forms into three dimensional structures, exploring perception, movement and audience itereaction. This project expanded my understanding of light, scale and environmental graphic design.
